Backgammon Movie (recommend!)

I just went to a pre-show of "The world is big and salvation lurks around the corner"

I liked it very much. This is a story about a family which got apart because of the communism and a car accident. Grandson lost his memory but Grandpa tries to recover it by travelling together (with tandem bicycle). Their bonding is backgammon.

I have never seen the movie which took Backgammon as a main motif and this could be the first one. I strongly recommend to watch.

This movie will be on theater from this may in Japan so that movie provider contacted Japanese Backgammon League to promote the movie and the game together. We will sell the board in theater and write few pages of column about backgammon.

However movie itself is released in 2008 or so, so you could get DVD on amazon.
