44 against Backgame

Do we make the bar? It could be a pain to clear the bar later. But we're not quite home yet. There could be quite a bit of mutual blot-hitting still, and then making the bar will be an asset because it will hamper White's ability to recirculate any checkers of hers that get hit. If we do make the bar, then what are the other two 4's? We could play 20/16 13/9 or 13/9(2) or 13/5. I don't think that 20/16 13/9 accomplishes too much. 13/5 cuts down on the blots but 13/9(2) is more in keeping with the strategy of priming White.
Suppose we don't make the bar. Then I guess we play 13/9(3) and choose between 20/16 and 9/4. It seems more thematic to run for home with 20/16.
Not at all sure about this play but I think I'd try 13/9(2) 11/7(2) with the strategy of trying to prime White. White could attack our blots but it's not so easy for her to sustain an attack. When the dust settles, I think we will probably come out ahead, with White having more checkers back and shaky timing.
