I think all the suggestions for a triple crown or grand slam are far fetched. Backgammon is not something that can simply be dominated by the best player. It isn't tennis, it isn't horse racing, it's backgammon and winning such an array of predetermined tourneys in the same year would be nothing short of a miracle. Not having a triple crown winner in the last 33 years would be nothing compared to how long it would take someone to accomplish it in backgammon.

Someone could spit out the math on how likely it is to happen assuming certain field sizes, strength of player, etc... but I'm too lazy to do it.
