Apparently this position first came up in 1990 and the expert choice was 10/8, 5/4, 2/1*.
It's recently been discussed again on a backgammon blog.

Not huge amounts of equity at stake and a bit of a novelty position. Do you agree with the expert choice from 1990 if not what's your play?
