I'll have a short go at it. Your opponent is committed to a backgame at this point yes? (down ~80 pips, no forward position whatsoever for immediate containment) With that in mind, making the bar point has no real value. It blocks nothing as those men aren't moving anyway unless 66 is rolled. By making the bar point you would actually set yourself up to bear those spares in to deep points instead of high points.

Your goal right now is to get your men around the board and in to your inner board on the higher points if possible. Best way to do that is clear the midpoint now and hop out.
