1) This donkey just plays lover's leap. Go up by ten in the race, escape a man, and have no real threats to speak of. Granted the stacked midpoint is ugly, but it usually is after lover's leap. 24/13

Attacking with 8/3* 6/1 appears to be the alternative, but I'm happy with the quieter play.

2) I'll play the boring S here. Maybe it's worth giving up the 8 point to make the three, but I'm not seeing it. Hitting loose on the ace seems anti-positional.
