Seed

I agree with Mike (not that anyone disagrees). I have cautioned and still do caution against using seed 1 to roll out positions. Identical (or near-identical) data to those who also use seed 1 to roll out the same position (including yourself inadvertently rolling out the same position twice) translates to wasted CPU time. Worse, people who don't know that when nothing displayed it means seed 1 might understandably assume that the seed is simply random (and suppressed) and go on using the default seed 1. Moreover, one may end up with data that is overlapped and not even realize it.
IMO, if possible it would be best if XG's factory default were set to seed 0. If someone wants to change that to seed 1 (though inadvisable) or seed xxxxxxx or whatever, he can do so. And regardless, the seed number, whatever it is, should always be displayed.
BTW, another seed that seems to be popular is 1296. "Hmm, easy for me to remember and probably nobody else will think to use it." (Not.) If you perceive an advantage in using the same seed for various positions (related or otherwise), something more distinct like your phone number or zip + d.o.b. seems better. Personally, unless I'm purposefully trying to reproduce a result for debugging purposes, I use a random seed.
