Against the railroad tracks, checking:

Do you have an anchor? Yes. How strong is your opponent's inner board? Not so strong. How strong is your inner board? Stronger. Does your opponent have blots in his inner board? No.

How many men do you have back? 3. How many men does your opponent have back? 1.

23/18 is Hartz IV for the back man. 5/4 is the next point in line and the natural place for the builder with the only number to get there. I think, as a captain in my sunday chouette, there would be no furor about this move.
