I'd reject any play that does not include 6/5(2), and 6/5(2) 8/7(2) and 6/5(2) 24/23(2), so then the question is safety 15/13 or split? I think splitting is valuable enough, so I'd split, 6/5(2) 24/23 15/14, instead of 6/5(2) 24/22. The outfield checker is less vulnerable on the 14 and is 6 away from the 8, and challenging the 9 point is probably not right, although maybe 23/22 benefits from duplicating White's outfield and infield hitting numbers.
