She can double as early as 17/(17+15), 53%.

Shouldn't that be 24/(24+17) = 58.8% ?

The gain from winning 2 points instead of 1 is ~17% (17.68%) but the risk of losing 2 points instead of 1 is ~25% (24.88%), not 15%. Double win -> 67.68%, No double win -> 50%, Gain 17.68%. Double lose -> 0%, No double lose -> 24.88%, Risk 24.88%. R/(R+G) = 24.88/(24.88 + 17.68) = 24.88/42.56 = 58.45% Doubling Window bottom.
