24/13 escapes the last man, but it won't be the last man when White connects with that double shot. 24/18 13/8 locks up a point, but again leaves a double shot. 13/2* is the play; it unstacks the heavy midpoint, uses Blue's board strength and maintains the threat against White's five point. White's nine dances are hugely gammonish, to boot.
