Endgame Cube Action

Encountered this position in a recent cash game and redoubled as blue. XG hit me for a huge blunder and said this position is actually a beaver... So, as a weak-intermediate player, I was hoping to get some guidance on what heuristics strong human players use to evaluate these types of positions. My thought process was basically that a simple 3roll vs 3roll position is a redub/drop and I didn't think the 2-pt gap would hurt so much as to cause the position to swing all the way to no double. Also, I saw there were some interesting analytics available under the Analyze-->Dice Distribution but not sure how to extract the key takeaways. Thanks for any help.
