Position #1 - There's no reason to anchor here. Hitting with the three is clear. I would lean to 24-22 with the deuce since the position is already leaning too far forward without adding a checker to the outfield.

Position #2 - There still isn't a need to anchor. However, those builders in the outfield will go to waste after an exchange of hits. And, with the racing lead and blue's pathetic position, there's no need to hit either. I would play @ and hope to make a forward point next turn.
