1. Blue doesn't have that many rolls that close the board, and even if he does, he risks breaking the board immediately. I definitely don't double here. Stick has posted some beavering problems so maybe this is a beaver. Blue does have a five-point board and hits with 1's so it doesn't look like a beaver to me. ND/T.

2. With the stronger board, I'd attack here with 13/9 6/3*. I'm confident this would be a strong play if we had a fourth checker on our 6pt; here the fact that 6/3* strips our 6pt makes me pause, but I don't see anything else particularly appetizing here.

3. 6/off is forced. Slotting with 3/2 leaves a blot that will be hard to clean up, but if we don't try to make the 2pt then we will also risk blotting down the line. Still, it feels more natural to me to break from the back even though it gives 2 extra immediate shots. 6/off 6/5.
