I am extrapolating. Suppose we get a hit against the midpoint tower. We hit, and then we must contain 1 checker. If this checker pottles out, we would be glad, not to give up the midpoint shooting on the blot.

I am assuming, we get a shot very soon, or white can consolidate,and we are then forced to anchor up, if we still can. So i think, we don't have to much time to get something going in the offense. The checker on 11 isn't in the zone, the 8 point is part of the primefield and untouchable. 11/8.

That were my thoughts. I may be wrong. But i had my reasons.
