1. If we play totally safe with 13/7 then any direct 6 (or 51) is very bad, often leading to a quick cash by White. Making the 4pt should be marginally better, retaining some outfield coverage and improving our offensive position at the cost of 2 shots. However, I think that PoH has to be best, dramatically improving our winning chances at the cost of only 4 shots. 7/3* 5/3.

2. Hitting doesn't seem right here, with so little ammunition. 15/10 6/5 looks like the purest play, and looks better to me than 15/11 or 15/14 13/8 or 13/8 6/5. The safe play is 24/23 15/10, but 24/23 is a little awkward in light of White's 8pt tower. Behind in the race, I'll try 15/10 6/5.

3. I think this should be an easy take since White has decent winning chances; she has a strong prime and our straggler currently has no direct number to jump out. We have a lead in the race but that can actually be a liability in a priming-oriented position. Our main advantage is our stronger board and our blitzing chances. This is the sort of position that I like to double but where I often get dinged for being too optimistic. At the risk of overcorrecting, I'll hold the cube here. ND/T.
