Number 1

The problem with 11/8 11/7 is that it overplays the blue position. Blue has not enough timing to keep the 5-prime intact. That’s the main reason why I choose to take the risk of leaving the anchor here.

Answer: 21x14

Number 2

14/7 would be allright if the move leading to the main reward (a 6-prime) wasn’t duplicated on the backside of the position. The other useful number for hitting on the 2-point (the 6) is also duplicated on the backside. That’s why moving safely on the forside is the best here.

Answer: 8/3 7/5

Number 3

Hitting only one checker seems unnecessary focussed on escaping. Escaping to the bar-point is good enough. The tougher question is: if blue would hit the 7- and 4-point, would he then have enough time to escape? The problem is that blue after throwing a 3 still needs a 3- or 6 to jump the second part of the white prime, it seems a bit too much.
