Irregardless or Irregardlessly?

If something doesn't burn easily it is not flammable, or nonflammable, but not inflammable. The prefix 'in-' was originally confused as the Latin un- and became accepted, but is derived from the preposition en- (enflame, engulf).
Much like flammable and inflammable, valuable and invaluable are mostly interchangeable especially in reference to something of great value. But valuable means having value, useful for a particular purpose or with respected properties or qualities. Invaluable means something of inestimable value or use, indispensible or appreciated for its extremely high value.
Btw, I am traumatised to learn that the rule I was taught at school and carried through life - i before e except after c - has been abolished across most of the UK, after some spoilsport discovered there are more exceptions than words that fit the rule.
