If you're suggesting people play matches online for this tournament I didn't recommend it because there is one crashing shortcoming and that is the match file could be lost which in this event is more than an 'oh damn, no match recording, oh well'.

Loss of data would obviously would not be a good occurrence. However, (again) given the fact that there is incentive for a website (particularly GG) to take this opportunity to advertise, etc., maybe that issue could be fixed in the next 9 months. Sure, they can't prevent a crash but they certainly could write the recording software such that if there is a crash, all moves prior to that catastrophe have been recorded and the situation can be reset as soon as the server (or client, if that is where the crash occurred) is back online. Or am I missing something?
