For the Overclockers, it looks like the new ivy bridge is a bust. Heating issues on the new 22nm die make sandy bridge look like it's still the best buy.
If you can get 4.5-4.7 ghz out of a sandy bridge 3930 hex core you get as much bang as the new ivy bridge parts for a lot less bucks.
Now if you could afford the 8 core e5 xeons coming out in a dual cpu configuration then I would be jealous but a stack of 2700k's would be a lot cheaper.
