Not the expected checkerplay error

It's a sign that I've been reading this group too much that I no longer know which play is the QF play. I would have made the deuce OTB after staring att the hit for a long time. Isn't hitting the QF play? But I agree that I would have cubed before the roll and would have hit f I had cubed.
