Short of volunteering a direct shot this turn I don't see any way to avoid leaving a blot next turn with 5-5 6-6, and 6-5. However we can avoid leaving a shot with 6-4 (by leaving the spare on the 4-point). I see four plays that accomplish this.

Certainly the matchscore and number of opp checkers on the rail has the potential of rendering the "normal" play here incorrect. Still I'm too lazy (tonight, anyway) to go into multi-ply analysis mode so I'll stay with (at least my view of) convention:
