As I said before, I haven't played in clocked tournaments. However, when I play practice matches against the bot, I stop to calculate take points, gammon values, and I count pips.

At some point, I plan to put myself on a clock against the bot, but not until I can get my PR for my last 100 matches down to 4.0, and I'm not there yet. If I can consistently maintain a 4.0 or better against the bot with a 10-second delay and two minutes per point, then I might consider playing in a tournament. Maybe.
