How do you deal with obnoxious strong players?

Falafel: i must admit that i may be partially guilty of this crime.
In New York earlier this year, I took a bad race cube against Falafel and then jokered him out for the match. I knew it was technically a drop, but thought there was enough juice for a fish take. There wasn't, unless Falafel has about 400 ELO on me. Afterwards, Falafel said to me, "You know that was a drop, right?" But, the way he said it wasn't mean spirited or an attempt to belittle me. He was gracious in defeat, and I didn't feel the least bit offended because he was cool about it.
