In Response To: The next major revolution in backgammon bots (Steve Mellen)

But what is the source of their confidence? Is it just a "feeling" that today's bots have the game figured out, or is it something that can be demonstrated?

I have it figured out and for the most part the bot agrees with me, not the other way around. That's the source of my confidence.
