In Response To: Late April Fools' Day... (Timothy Chow)

You could fix the position of say 10 checkers for each side, then led each player place 5 where they want them. Then bid for the right to play with white (if white is an underdog, bet a minus amount of course). Play 10 games, keeping score. Next position next. Looks plenty interesting to me!
