What book is recommended for improving cube skills?

I recently had a friend of mine ask about their strengths and weaknesses. I happened to know from experience that their actually a good checker player, but need a big improvement in cube handling.

I'm asking on their behalf - Are there any books (or tool) that people would recommend to achieve better cube handling skills?
