I'm not sure what everything in this survey meant either but your original statement seemed a little loose to me. You said "Backgammon Prizes - Not sure what is meant. If I pay more for there to be more prize money, isn't that a wash? "

Taking the extreme examples would you, Mary Hickey, rather enter a tournament with a 1 cent entry for everyone or a $100 entry fee for everyone. It isn't a wash. The better players should want the perfect balance of the highest entry fee possible to attract the largest prize pool assuming the fish aren't lost.
