Bob,

I prefer weighted points per tournament entered. So, if you and I each had 40 points, but I played in 40 events, and you played in 10, my average would be 1.00; yours would be 4.00, so you would rank far ahead of me.

By "weighted points",

1.) I would give more weight to this year's points over last years, and more still over that from 2010 ... by a 5:4:3:2:1 ratio.

2.)I would give more weight to prestige high purse long match tournaments like Monte Carlo.
