What about Max Crossner...an 11 year old that competed in the Advanced Division and also side events against Advanced and Open players and played impressively! Note that there were 15 people in the Limited Division, and to me, that is one of the most important numbers to look at relative to the future growth of the game. A good portion of their time at the tournament was spend learning the game and discussing checker and cube strategy, and they all walked away knowing more about the game, feeling more confident, and much more likely to return as a result.
