Even if 6/2 gives a lower effective pip count, it isn't necessarily the best play, because you don't have to outrun the bear, just your opponent.

I don't know what's right here, but I'll guess 5/1 on the grounds that Blue is winning by a lot, and so should guard against bad rolls, such as rolling a 1.
