It boggles my mind that you would not tell Stick of this arrangement. That makes absolutely no sense.

I can understand saying directly to Stick, "I'm convinced you cheated so I'm not paying you." I cannot understand having a conversation like the one you had with Sander, and using that to rationalize not paying Stick without saying anything to Stick, not even "I'm not going to pay you until you pay Sander." Where's the integrity in that?

Even if I grant for the sake of argument that Stick did cheat, I can't sympathize with the way you handled this. I'm totally with David Rockwell on this one.
