Think in this context of the following thought experiment: as you know every year a thousand players take place in the finals of the world coin flipping contest. Every player flips 10000 coins and the player who's got most heads wins. If we assume that this is normally a game of chance and you want to ex post test for cheating, you can be sure that with a very high degree of statsitical significance, every year's winner is a cheat (and the number 1000 a shameless and corrupt player that on purpose dumps his matches).
