Bill Davis has a chart that is very similar to what I am about to describe.

The Masters event has a factor of 1.5 over the Open.

Winner of the Open gets .08 X the number of players for a max of 2.56.

2nd of main and winner of Conso get .04 X the number of players for a max of 1.28.

Semi of main get .03 x number of players for a max of .96.

2nd of Conso get .02 x number of players for a max of .64.

90%+ of the time the masters is full with 16-players. The maximum points awarded in the Masters is as follows...1st 1.92, 2nd .96, semi .72.

6 Sundays a year and one Friday in November there is a 32-player Open Tournament with double points awarded to all places. The max for 1st place is .16 x 32 = 5.12.

On those days there is also an Intermediate tournament with a .5 factor to the open but they still get double points to they receive the same points as a normal weekly Main/Open tournament.
