U.S.B.G.F Interclub Finals on GridGammon Today

Finals time is here! What started with 42 teams from across the nation is now down to two.

The Beltway Backgammon Club is responsible for both teams that have reached the finals of the 2012 U.S.B.G.F. Interclub Championship. The Beltway Bandits are comprised of Bob Koca, Alfred Mamlet, and Frank Raposa. They Might Not Be Giants consists of Grant Schedier, Barry Silliman, and John Klein. The latter team placed 2nd in 2011, quite an impressive back-to-back showing.

The first match set will begin on GridGaammon today somewhere between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m EST. It will be between the A-players, Bob Koca and Grant Schneider. They will be playing a best 2-out-of-3 11-point set. You are invited to watch two world class players playing in a national championship event!
