Nactation: Question on P

After having a look at Nack's replies to Nactation queries from Mike on P in Clarifying the P (Point) Family I have the following questions:

From the part on plays making two new points, is it correct to assume that this (plays making two new points do not belong to the P family) holds for plays of non-doublets making two new points given that no part of the play enters from the bar?

Can a play of a doublet switching two points ever be nactated with a member of the P family? Thanks.
