Chouette Tournament

Kit won the first of three chouette qualifying tournaments run Thursday night, and all agreed it is a really fun format. Here are the basic rules we used:
Entry fee $100 per person* 4 player chouettes Winner of each chouette goes into final chouette Winner of final chouette gets 45% Second place gets 25% Third and forth get 15% each
Chouette Rules: Everyone starts with 12 points and is eliminated when all points are lost
Play continues until only one player has points
Every six games the cube value doubles
A player may not win more points than he has left against each player he plays (If the player in the box has 4 points, he can lose 4 points to each of his opponents or win 4 points from each)
No consulting
Completely individual cubes and cube action
To keep the box , the box must win points and beat the captain
No automatics; no extras; no minimum number of cubes to double or take No beavers or drop/takes.
