Reference position: running off the ace point

In response to an earlier request for reference positions, I share two contrasting positions. The question is whether to run one checker off the ace point. I have shown two moves only--the best running move and the best non-running move. Obviously match score considerations could affect the result--these are XG Roller++ for money:
