I'm surprised how bad my play was

Maybe it is a 'Chase' position - Chase has disappeared from BG it seems (and unfortunately because he was a friendly guy with pretty good BG posts), but when he was around on Kit's site he often mentioned that in positions like this, coming home against an anchor with a chaser on the 24, it would be good to hit the chaser if nothing else productive could be done. This does not really look like a typical Chase position (we are not really coming home yet), but maybe close enough.

Another argument for 6/1* would be that 6s play pretty well after 20/15 (no bad 6), whereas they play pretty poorly from the bar.

So 6/1* is a contender, and maybe 13/8 as well. I'd play 20/15 OTB without too much thought, and would expect at worse to make a tiny error with that play.
