Best format for learning & fun

I am looking for some ideas regarding the best format of 1-on-1 backgammon where the goal is to maximize learning and fun at the same time. My current idea is to play one game at a time, importing into XG after each game (made very easy thanks to xg on ipad). At the end of the game, we review the moves one at a time, and settle up depending on the difference in equity between the human and bot play (ex: a .05 error costs $1, .1 error costs you $2, whatever). To me, this format seems like a good mix of playing fun combined with learning after each game, but wanted to see if there are any potential problems here of if there are any better ideas out there. Thanks.
