I got that message today: Dear Sevdalin,

Thank you for contacting Betfair.

Further to your recent Backgammon query, please be advised that Jadestone have informed us that they do not allow any "boting" or use of third party programs during the games and all account found doing so is shut down. They run checks in the system that helps them to find the users that are misusing the service, but the best way to find bots is when players report them.

Unfortunately they cannot disclose to the users what is done to other players accounts, but all reports are taken seriously, and the account is banned if the reported user is indeed using a bot.

Identifying all all the players that are using 3rd party programs is impossible, but it is part of our continuous routines.

If the you do meet players that you suspect are using 3rd party programs, we would appreciate if you send the report to so we will be able to forward this on to Jadestone.
