The blitz has generated a forty-pip lead, but only left nine chequers in the zone to continue an attack. It's time to consolidate with 15/13 6/3. Blue should win if there is no hitting, and perhaps he'll get another chance to attack anyway.

I would expect 7/5*/2 is the best attacking play, since it leaves less blots than 13/10 7/5*. If it works, then making the deep points makes it easier to bring men to bear on the remaining high points, and if White hits, at least the entered-man is deeper.
