Pointing on the three point is temporarily satisfying, but the position looks too stretched to work well.

21/9 13/7(2) and 21/9 24/18(2) both look better. So, which bar point should I make?

Blue's bar point aims for a priming game, and is six away from White's back man. However, priming one chequer is always difficult, more so when our opponent has an immediate direct shot. I fear White is liable to escape and Blue will be left with some kind of holding game. Given the choice between holding the 24 and 18 points, we'd all choose the 18. Since the dice have offered us the point now, I want to take it.

21/9 24/18(2) is my choice.
