Japan Open is over!

We had record attendance both in Open and BEGINNER(which is more important!). Thank you very much for all who came to Japan Open.

Kenji Shimodaira won Japan Open by beating Akiko Yazawa. He earned same title 20years ago but he proved that his level is still the highest in Japan.

Even though Akiko lost in the final, she actually did very well and split Super Jackpot with MCG. Wait, MCG also won Consolation, so basically MCG and Akiko cashed more than Kenji did!

Carol Joy Cole won Lady's title ! She stayed in a little nice room hosted by backgammon family (yep, my home :)) and enjoy them very much (I hope!).

Here is how Japan Open looks like. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLplRSEMEDM&feature=plcp
