Looking for Backgammon articles

I'm looking for articles about backgammon, but NOT about the game itself (strategy, analysis, etc) I'm looking more for the intersection of backgammon and society. They need to be in English. I would prefer articles from mainstream media, especially popular magazines or newspapers, but blogs or other web-based articles are OK. Any topic, but a few of special interest are:

  • backgammon in an academic environment, especially as a learning tool
  • Success stories from national or local organizations
  • legal/gambling issues/challenges
  • general societal attitude/trends

    Any local articles you know of, links, scans, etc would be greatly appreciated.
