Backgammon Olympiad...a one day tournament with 110% return

The Chicago Open Presents

A One Day Backgammon Olympiad

Sunday November 4th @ 12:00 PM

The Backgammon Olympiad Features:

• Ten DMP matches

• Four 5-point Speed Gammon matches

• Two sessions of score-based scenario match play (2-away, 4-away and 3-away, 6-away)

Points will be accumulated for each match won according to the following schedule:

• DMP = 2 points

• Speed Gammon = 5 points

• 2-away, 4-away = 4 points

• 3-away, 6-away = 6 points

Please preregister to reserve your place!

• Entry Fee is $100

• 110% Return (This tournament has added money)

• Side Pools of $50 & $100 will be offered with 100% return

• All matches will be clocked!

• Limited to either 12 or 18 players depending upon the level of interest

• Payout will be to either two or three places based on points accumulated in the three sessions.

A best 2-out-of-3 DMP session will be used to break a tie.
