We trail be 64 pips and are vulnerable to being attacked by big doubles and 64 and 41. We have our 5 pt, but we only have 6 forward checkers to contain if we hit quickly. If we don't anchor we may get drilled on the follwing roll. If we do anchor we get a playable holding game, but still maybe later pounded into something where Stick has a 4 or 5 pt board and we hold his bar anchor and an inside anchor. Stick's near solid collection of points is very useful for clearing to come home or to attack from.

Our 5 pt makes me think that maybe we could take this mess for money ...but that is just a MAYBE.. so at this score where we must pass gammonish positions somewhat quicker than for money (this is quite gammonish down 64 pips !) we simply have to pass this if we aren't sure it is a definate money take.
