Alabama Supreme Court Ruling 1976

In Response To: Alabama Supreme Court Ruling 1976 (Rick Janowski)

It says that in Atlantic City, the New Jersey Attorney General's office ruled that backgammon is in effect a lottery and therefore that holding a backgammon tournament anywhere in the state would be illegal.

Has there been any new ruling in New Jersey since then?
