Nice position from NTK and nice analysis from JOH. I'd expect more gammons here than in JOH's analysis, but also higher cube efficiency. If you think about how the trailer wins, it comes through small incremental improvements - Blue dances, White hits loose, Blue dances again, White covers, Blue dances, White splits to the 22, Blue dances, White rolls a 6 to escape or an ace to anchor up on the 22, etc. None of these are tremendous jumps in equity, so you could fine-tune the recube. Hence I expect a bit more than 70% efficiency for the use of the cube.
This type of position looks worse for White than it is. Blue has a checker on the bar against a 4-point board, White may put a second one there, and may improve to a 5-point board. White is not at the edge of the prime, but has quite some time to escape with all the checker on the mid and 14. For money, this would be a clear double and a difficult take/drop decision (for me). So at the score, White's take should be relatively easy. It looks still like a double to me because any entering number may easily lose Blue's market.
D/T for me as well.
