What is the DMP play? Which play wins the most gammons? 13/8 6/3 to both these questions, by a little (I think, not 100% sure) and by a lot. So in order for 7/4 7/2 to be best, it would need to safe on a lot of gammon losses. And it does not, because gammon losses start with an immediate hit, us not safety-ing, getting a second hit, not anchoring and getting closed out, so we don't lose that many gammons if we hit now.

Also important to check that XG does not have a smart cube after the hit, which could upset the above reasoning, but no.
